RESOURCE CONVEYOR ENGINEERING SOLUTION
TL provided design and manufacturing of a microcomputer system to detect
damage to large expensive conveyor belts for the manufacturer of the
belts. We adapted technology developed by the belt manufacturer for
use with a microcomputer, and provided monitoring, reporting, and alarm
functions. We developed a DSP based enhancement to the detection subsystem
which makes manufacturing of the conveyor belt easier, and incorporated
additional field test facilities in the system to make verification
of the system easier in remote locations.
