Surface Mount

TL Industries continues to invest in the manufacturing equipment necessary to keep up with the demands of today's complex circuit boards. TL Industries uses 'Quad Systems' pick-n-place surface mount equipment that are used by many of today's manufacturers. This equipment is capable of placing all types of surface mount components including fine-pitch and high lead count components.

The need for high quality surface mount equipment is not limited to just the machines that place the components. TL Industries also uses automatic solder paste equipment and infrared reflow soldering ovens that will ensure consistent manufacturing results.

Much of the surface mount equipment also contains the features necessary to ensure manufacturing quality. Features such as vision systems that ensure the alignment of the boards and the placement of components bring quality and consistency to the products that would be difficult to achieve otherwise.

In order to decrease manufacturing time and costs, TL Industries has invested in a number of through-hole manufacturing equipment. This equipment includes axial lead insertion equipment, DIP IC Inserter and operator assisted through-hole insertion equipment. This gives TL Industries the technology necessary to manufacture products quickly, accurately and inexpensively while maintaining the flexibility to manufacture equipment with odd components or special requirements.

TL Industries current test equipment includes in-circuit test equipment that will completely test completed circuit boards at any number of test points and special RF and network test equipment purchased solely to test a specific customers products.

Due to TL Industries engineering and fabrication abilities, we can custom build test fixtures that can perform functional tests for completed assemblies at a fraction of the cost of competitive manufacturers.
