First the craftsman layers each nautical themed coin in pure "Bright Silver" and then by hand the figures of each coin are highlighted with rich pure 24K Gold. After that the finished coins are hermetically sealed against wear in a clear hard acrylic coating.
Gold & Silver Cut Coin Nautical Jewelry:
First a small hole is drilled in the coin and then a fine jewelers saw blade is inserted through the hole and worked by hand around the coins design cutting away the background. Thus leaving the coins figure floating inside it's outer edge or rim. The figure of the coin is then selectively layered by hand in Brilliant Gold & Silver. Each nautical coin jewelry item is electrosealed with Tarnavoid to protect against tarnishing.
