Marva has been in the hotel/restaurant business for over 50 years. She has organized many special events including the Shriner's Charter Night Convention, many weddings, New Year's Eve Galas, etc.

She is heading a committee of dedicated, experienced women to help her with the huge task of organizing local fund raising events in Cochrane and Calgary. Most of the money raised from these events will be used for basic expenses to get Martha on the road to Ottawa.
