The sketches of this website collection are arranged into eleven galleries.


Under the sub-title of Hierarchs, Patriarchs and Basilicas, the general theme of this website is the history of the Eastern Christianity, the Orthodox and Eastern Catholic Churches.


The first Gallery - A Witness to the Elect refers to Fr. Avvakum, patron saint of Old Believer Russian Orthodoxy.


The second - When the Wall Opens Again - Past Tragedy – Future Glory - focuses on the pivotal event in the history of the Eastern Church, the 29 May 1453 fall of Imperial Constantinople - and the Great Church of Hagia Sophia - to the Turks.
