Instead of ungainly controls, the Siemens Centra Life lets you make adjustments via an optional ePocket remote. This small device lets you adjust volume discreetly, and has controls and readouts for volume setting, program number, and battery charge. This keeps the Siemens Centra Life's casing sleek and small, and lets you adjust settings without hassel.

SoundSmoothing

Wave goodbye to harsh sound. Siemens Centra Life does away with this problem, using SoundSmoothing. It recognizes and reduces sharp noises like clanging dishes, and breaking glass, while preserving the sound of voices and conversations. This is possible because it limits how fast sound levels can increase (envelope slope limiting) keeping sharp noises from being amplified.

TwinMic

TwinMic, Siemens Centra Life's directional microphones make it easier to focus on a particular sound in the midst of noise. Insead of just one microphone, which produces a difficult-to-distinguish wall of sound, the TwinMic system uses two mics, allowing for "binocular" hearing, increasing listening comprehension.

An advanced feedback cancelation system gets rid of the high-pitched whistling that can be a common problem with many hearing instruments. The Siemens Centra Life also has an "eWindScreen", an electronic wind noise reduction system that detects wind sounds and adapts automatically to reduce annoying wind noise. A Directional Microphone provides focus for sound, adapting to your listening environment and defining sound into separate sources, not one big noise. Warranty

All Siemens hearing aids come with a two year Siemens Factory warranty that covers all parts and Labor. In addition, the warranty also covers loss or damage to the Hearing aid one time per aid for the whole two year period. There is a $200.00 deductible fee when utilizing the loss/damage coverage to have your Siemens hearing aid replaced. There are no fees when having your hearing aid repaired under warranty during the two year warranty period. Extended warranties are available and do include loss/damage if you have not filed a prior claim.
