Recently Gn ReSound came out with a product call AIR. This device is like reading glasses for your ears. The AIR does not add volume as much as it just makes speech clearer. The AIR is not like conventional hearing aids that fit in your ear and make your voice sound funny and make your ears feel plugged. The AIR fits on top of your ear with a tiny tube that is almost invisable going into your ear canal. Minutes after putting it on you can't feel it or tell that your wearing a hearing aid, you just hear more clearly....much the same as seeing more clearly with reading glasses.

The Gn ReSound AIR is a programmable devise. It also has a feed back manager that needs to accusticly map your ear canal to work efficently at preventing feedback (squealing, whistleing, etc.).
