Talent / Promotions Coordinator

This is not an on air position. Burbank Community Radio Station 925 KYHY is looking for a team of ten computer savvy people who can spend two to four hours per week using MySpace, Facebook, Youtube, or the telephone to help our On Air radio talent to produce great shows and keep in touch with their fans.

This is a part time position, that can be performed off site via telephone and or internet while working from home. We are looking for several highly organized people who are good at delivering prompt information to our On air Talent.

Once per week you will be given a task list that may include sending email (no spam) making suggestions to our on air talent about their shows as dictated by the management. You will take and summarize concerns and feedback from the On Air hosts and act as a liaison with management.

Candidates should be very good with speaking on the telephone within the confines of business hours in the (United States Pacific Standard Time Zone).

Candidates should have a working knowledge of Myspace, Facebook and Youtube.

Candidates will be required to use our telephone system to place informational calls to On Air Staff or visiting Celebrities without getting “Star Struck” or asking for autographs or pictures.

Selected Parties will be given a trial period with a limited number of hosts and hours to complete each task. The selected parties that get the most accomplished within time constraints will be taken on to permanent status.

To be considered for this position you must:
• Have a working Myspace account.
• Have a working knowledge of MS Word
• Be over the age of 18
• Be able to follow instructions off of a printed page.
• Read, Write and Speak English.
Starting pay $10 Hour
