LOSE WEIGHT


Effective weight loss takes time. You can lose a lot of weight in a short period of time, but it has its side effects.

A lot of the initial loss of weight from starvation diets is muscle protein (you lose muscle before you begin burning fat).

Since you are dieting to lose weight instead of adopting a diet that will maintain your ideal weight permanently, you tend to gain it all back as soon as you are finished dieting.

Your health is at risk!


The safe and healthy way to lose weight is to accept that it takes time.
Your best bet is to:

Stay off of your scale. Weight can fluctuate up and down in the early stages of the fat burning process. So to keep from getting discouraged, stay off of your scale for at least a month (if you must test your results, use a tape measure).

Determine the amount of time it will take you to reach your ideal weight by calculating your weight loss at 2 pounds per week. So, if you lose more, it will be a bonus.

Increase your activity level by 20 minutes per day (take a little walk after you finish eating).

Choose a diet that is right for you. By that I mean if you are not the type of person who will spend all day Sunday preparing your meals for the week, any diet that would have you do that is obviously not the right diet for you.

Adopt a diet that is correct for maintaining your ideal weight and let it take the necessary time for you to reach the trimmer you. (If you need to lose 50 pounds or more, you might want to consider setting intermittent goals of 25 pounds, adjusting your diet lower as you achieve each goal.)

Listen to your hypnosis disk about once per week to help you feel attracted only to healthy foods, fill up faster, stay satisfied between meals and be happier with more active forms of entertainment besides just watching T.V. after your meals.


Stop thinking of your diet as dieting. What you eat, how much you eat and how often you eat, are your diet. Start thinking of your diet as the food you eat to maintain the weight that is right for you. If you set your diet to a level that will maintain your ideal weight, before you know it, you will be at that weight!
