Hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada, The day after... is in the business of making music that can be catchy yet contain substance, music that is lyrically savvy but personal, and that deals with human relationships. Jenine Cali and KC Wells started writing together in 1999, playing regularly and gaining a somewhat "underground" respect in their own hometown. They released their first EP, Scared of Dolls, in 2001 which garnered them radio airplay and more attention. Mid 2002 saw the addition of Trevor Warnick. In 2003, Luis Cano began playing drums for the band and they released their second EP, Do You Feel Better Now?, to critical acclaim. After opening for bands such as Eve6 and Face to Face and playing throughout the southwest, the band released its third EP The weight of all things in April of 2004. Shaun Dougherty replaced Warnick as guitarist shortly after and current line up was formed.
