VEGAS BANDS
pec-ca-dil-lo - 1. a slight sin or offense
2. a petty crime, or small infraction
From fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada, The Peaccadilloes began to form in 2002. In earlier times a lonesome two-piece band made up of Tad on bass and Jarrett on drums (who called themselves "The J.T and T.D.H. Jam"...we still don't know what T.D.H stands for) plotted to package together a good old fashioned punk rock entity. Looking no further than their own backyard, literally, they asked San-D to join in the festivities. A threesome now, they started putting together the rudiments of what would become "Desert Rats" (the band's first self-released material). Only a few months together, the three headed to California and recorded a four-song demo, still without a guitarist. They played the demo for this punk kid off the street (San-D's cousin James, who had earlier turned down the job of playing guitar several times), who decided that maybe with his expertise, this band might actually be able to sound halfway decent. A year and a half and two full length self-released CD's (Desert Rats and The Awful Truth) later and with absolutely nothing left to look forward to, The Peccadilloes somehow still manage to find the time to enjoy their first true love, bass fishing...... huh? You can also find them on Skratch Compilation #19: "What Did You Expect For Free", and a Las Vegas local band tribute to the Ramones called Sniffin' Glue In The Afternoon. They expect to be doing some out-of-state touring soon!
