We just hosted a buffet dinner party. Our dining room table setting looked
so exquisite with a series of three wreaths and hurricane chimneys with candles
that you suggested. Since it was a summer celebration, I was able to add fresh
flowers from the garden. We received compliments galore, and I was able to say
that I created it "the look." Best of all, since we entertain frequently, I can
re-design my tabletop with the very same wreaths.

Renaissance Table-Top Centerpiece (Magnificent
for Dining Room Celebrations!)
What you will need:
| From WreathGarden.com |
From a Craft/Floral Supply Store |
- Any size wreath or frame design of your choice; or
- You may want 2 or more for larger tables
|
- Large table-top hurricane lamp chimney(s)
- Smaller table-top hurricane lamp chimney(s)
- Large 3" diameter pillar candle(s), white or colored
- Smaller diameter / shorter pillar candles
- Small plate(s) or drip basin(s), one for each candle
used on table top
- Floral water picks, spiked (optional)
- Fresh roses, seasonal flowers, etc. (optional)
|
Directions:
- Place the WreathGarden wreath or frame on your tabletop in the desired
position. You may want to place a mat under the wreath, especially if it is
a dyed / preserved wreath. Consider placing a large wreath under your chandelier
and placing two 12" bantam wreaths of the same or a coordinating design on
either side of center.
- Place a small drip plate or basin inside the center of each WreathGarden
wreath or frame.
- Place a pillar candle on top of each drip plate or basin in the center of
the wreath.
- Ensconce each candle with a hurricane chimney to protect the wreath and
table top from open flames.
- Use this idea over and over again with variations.
Variations:
(We especially like enhancing our designs with fresh roses and seasonal flowers.)
- Create your tabletop design above, steps 1-5.
- Enhance your dried / preserved WreathGarden wreath with fresh-cut seasonal
flowers by cutting stems on the diagonal to about 3" in length.
- Place each stem into a water-filled, spiked floral water pick.
- Arrange the water-picked stems around and spiked into the wreath base as
desired.
- When the fresh blooms have faded, gently remove them along with the picks
from the wreath.
- You still have the WreathGarden dried/preserved botanical wreath to use
as a fresh "canvas" for a different color scheme, celebration theme, or season!

Your wreaths are so beautiful. I am a wedding planner, and I will be recommending
them to my bridal clients to be used as centerpieces with hurricane chimneys
and candles for receptions and rehearsal dinners. They are ideal since they
sit low and do not interfere with across-the-table conversations.

For Baby's Nursery (Sweet Ideas for a shower or new baby
gift):
I bought a Lamb's Ear Bantam Wreath and decorated it with a baby blue "ducky"
print ribbon for my new little nephew. Mom was impressed with my creative touch
- - and she always thought I wasn't creative!
