This wood candleholder is made from sheesham wood. Sheesham wood (Indian Rosewood) is a hardwood indigenous to India. Each item is hand made in India. Each candle stick has a metal plate on the top to sit a large church candle on (candle not included). The stem can be removed from the base by unscrewing it. The sheesham wood has been waxed to bring out the color and grain and to give it a semi gloss finish. Measures approximately 14 1/2 inches high.
