This wood candleholder is made from sheesham wood. Sheesham wood (Indian Rosewood) is a hardwood indigenous to India. The wood for this item comes from renewable forest plantations. Each item is hand made in India. This candleholder has a metal dish sunk into the top to hold a tealight or votive candle (not included). The sheesham wood has been waxed to bring out the color and grain and to give it a semi gloss finish. Measures approximately 3 1/4 inches high by 4 inches in diameter.
