This wheel thrown stoneware teapot was made as a bowl shape and altered when still wet into a rectangluar shape before a slab bottom was added and it was turned upright to finish. It has a thrown spout, pulled handle, small thrown lid and lug feet attavhed to lift it off the table. It is glazed in a copper green seafoam glaze and fired to high temperatures in a gas reduction reduced atmosphere kiln. It measures approximately 8"l x 41/2w" x 7"h.
