Wheel thrown stoneware teapot. This great handmade teapot was first thrown as a bowl and altered into an oval before turning upright. It has a slab bottom, a wheel thrown spout, handmade pulled and twisted handle, and handmade foot additons. It is glazed with a copper green seafoam glaze and a bit of tenmoku and fired to high temperatures in a gas fired reduced atmosphere kiln. This handmade teapot measures approximately 9"l x 5 1/2"w x 8"h.
