This is a handmade wheel thrown stoneware picher. It was shaped into an oval while still wet. Slabs were added to the bottom and the beak and the handle is a pulled attachment. Multiple layers of glaze is used for decoration and it was fired to a high temperature in a gas fired reduction kiln.
