A stoneware teapot. It was thrown on a potter"s wheel upside down as a bowl shape and altered into a rectangle. A slab base was added before being turned upright. Small lug feet and a thrown spout and pulled handle were added as well as a thrown lid with a small knob. It is glazed in a simple copper seafoam green glaze layered over itself. It was fired to high temperatures in a gas fired reduced atmosphere kiln. It measures approximately 8"l x 4 1/2" w x 7"h.
