in 1999 after seeing a beautiful dancer in a local restaurant. She has trained
under Cynthia Delaney of Wollongong and Kevena of Newcastle, and is dedicated
to furthering her learning at every opportunity.
Julie teaches through her school; Shimmy N Sheik Belly Dance Co, throughout
the Illawarra area. She also loves the friendships that are made through the
dance and believes that the ABA is a great way to network with other dancers
to share our love of MED.
The lovely Jade is the editor of our newsletter now known as Network News.
While fairly new to the art of Bellydance, Jade is a very dedicated student who has studied other forms of dance such as Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Modern dance, Ceroc, acrobatics and gymnastics.
We need more committee members!

Due to the growth of our network we need some more people to help with the committee.
If you have the time to meet with us a few times a year and help with event organisation then please contact us. You don't have to live in Sydney.
