Or even with general health because general health is important to oral health and vice versa. Anything about oral health,all about a smile.

“ Ingredient Lists”
The story:
Since one of GarGar’s Lessons, every time now I go shopping with mummy, I help mummy to look at the ingredient lists on labels. It takes mummy a little longer to shop but we have a lot of fun.
We especially look for all those different names for sugar. Mummy said she had no idea about a lot of those things, all with different names and all being sugary substances. So we do not forget their names I take a list with those names on it and Mummy takes her shopping list.

Yes there are a lot of sugary substances, which are high in sugar levels but which are not called sugar.
There are two important things to remember about all of these sugary substances. First, they are easily and quickly changed in your mouth to acids by the bacteria in your mouth. ( In the books acids are called NASTEEZ and bacteria are called LURKEEZ ). Then these acids in your mouth can attack your teeth and cause them to decay. Second, the bacteria feed on the sugary substances and rapidly become , not just a few in numbers but thousands in numbers. In such large numbers bacteria can attack your gums, making them red, swollen and to bleed easily
