Remember when you were a kid and wanted to earn some money? You had the ambition and desire. But you were too young to get a “real” job. So, what did you do? You did the TWIST and decided to open your own business. If no one else wanted to hire you (or could do so legally)…you learned that you could Hire Yourself (what I call Higher Yourself™).
You were smart because you chose to work from home without renting any space or adding overhead expenses. And, you were really amazing because you got your startup funds from your mom!
Next, you looked for “thirsty” people. You put your stand out on the corner of your yard or at the end of our driveway so people driving down the street could see your new business. And those who knew you became your customers. Often these customers were your neighbors who knew you and trusted you.
The only “Sour Situation?” You ran out of business! In fact, the life an average lemonade stand is just three hours!
So, after you made a few dollars, you closed down your lemonade stand and waited a few years till you were old enough to go get a “real” job.
Now, you might be back to where you were when you were a kid. You want something better. You don’t want to work for someone else. And you have some great ideas, but lack the capitol, confidence, competency, and customers to make it happen.
