GM’s SPS Service Programming Systems

• GM’s Service Programming System merges your Tech 2 Flash, a required PC*,
  and GM’s SPS CD-ROM, and lets you reprogram controllers on ’93 and newer
  GM/ reprogrammable controllers.
• With your PC and the Tech 2 Flash, you will be on the receiving end of software
  subscription updates via CD-ROM disks.
• IMPORTANT: To re-flash GM vehicles you will need the TIS / SPS annual subscription from AC-Delco and the MDI Cable. These two items are not included with this purchase. The MDI Cable with a one year TIS / SPS subscription is available under part number OTC3846.
• IMPORTANT: This product is sold without the CANdi Module. This means you can flash non-CAN (non-Controller Area Network) vehicles only. All GM vehicles from 2008 onward are CAN compliant and require the CANdi module for re-flashing, part number OTC362520.
• IMPORTANT: This tool cannot be used to modify calibrations for racing or other purposes. It is intended to flash the ECU with factory original calibrations supplied by GM.
