The Acura transmission is a computer controlled 4 sped front wheel drive transaxle with one reverse speed and a converter clutch. The electronic control system consists of an automatic control unit, sensors, and 4 solinoid valves. Shifting and lock-up are electronically controlled for comforrtable driving under all conditions.
