The oyster mushrooms get their name from their shape which is similar to an oyster as well as its taste and texture. They are very prolific and easy to grow. Excellent alone or in stir fries and seafood stews. Use logs of alder, aspen, cottonwood, beech, willow, maple and sweetgum or other softwoods.
