Wire Splint
Wire splint for immobilization of injuried limb
Have you ever had a accident victim fall in a
convenient place? NO, neither have we therefore, our very versatile rolled
wire splints will easily conform to any angle of injury.
Each wire splint can easily provide maximum
immobilization when formed by rounding or bending. They are 3-3/4" x 30" and
unroll quickly and flattens for easy application. They can be disinfected and
reused.
How to use the wire splint:
1. Unroll wire splint to full length.
2. Cover the inside of the wire splint with a
soft material such as guaze or triangular bandages to protect against further
injury or rubbing by the wire splint.
3. Fold and shape the wire splint to conform
to the fractured limb.
4. Finally, bandage firmly in place with
gauze bandage
5. Finish by strongly tying or fasten with
adhesive tape.
