TIME - The VSA will save you valuable time. It takes time to write a speeding ticket. A typical trip of 30 miles at a speed limit of 55 MPH takes about 33 minutes. The same ride at 85 MPH will take 21 minutes. If you are stopped for speeding, you can expect to wait a minimum of 15 minutes while the officer writes the ticket. Your 33 minute trip has now been increased to at least 36 minutes. Ultimately, speeding costs you time instead of saving you time. It has been a common practice for an officer to make you wait over 30 minutes – which gives you ample time to realize IT WAS NOT WORTH IT. In addition, you will spend endless hours defending yourself in court.

MONEY - It is not uncommon for an officer to add on some other fines in addition to the speeding ticket (unfastened seat belt, expired inspection sticker, broken light, etc.).
