Muella Scale Models designs and manufactures scale model structures and accessories in half inch scale, more commonly known as "G" scale. The material used is a two part polyurethane casting resin. The resin used in their products is of the highest quality available and is distinguishable from the lesser grades by the absence of odors and stickiness when handled. They use a paintable mold release which eliminates the need for pre-washing the castings before painting or assembling.
The finished resin castings are UV stable and will withstand any environmental conditions without damage. The process used produces a virtually bubble free casting which can then be sanded, drilled, tapped and painted with any type acrylics or lacquers on the market today.
All models shown in the following photographs are manufactured entirely of polyurethane resin. Styrene material is used only for corner trim and roof peak caps. All kits include a photograph of the finished model, complete assembly instructions and a description of how the model was finished.
