We created this jam because both of my parents are adult diabetic and we wanted something they could enjoy. My seven year old son has a skin rash that is now being attributed to what he eats. As a result, we limit white flour and white sugar so this is a jam that he can eat with natural peanut butter on whole wheat bread and he still feels like he is eating like other kids. We sweeten the jam with natural fruit juice and use a blend of raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries. This is a great jam for anyone seeking a healthy alternative to traditional jellies and jams.
