The beans are not just roasted until they turn brown, but are taken through a meticulous process. Many samples are taken at different stages during the roast. We then “cup” (taste) the samples and, when satisfied, go back to the roaster to develop the perfect coffee for your enjoyment. Your beans will be roasted after you place your order, and that date will be put on the package instead of an expiration date. This way, you will enjoy the freshest coffee possible. Another aspect of Canyon Coffee Company is consulting. Trent has been in the coffee business for several years and has been trained by the world’s largest coffee company as a certified barista trainer, manager, and whole bean master who has also set up coffee shops.
