OUR SEPTIC TANK PRODUCTS ARE:
1. Microbic Septic Tank Additive:
This product consists of specialized microbes acclimated for use in treatment of septic systems. These microbes will substantially accelerate the rate of breakdown of waste products in your septic tank and will thereby extend the length of time between required pumpings!
This product has a much higher yield of microbes than standard industry blends used in these applications. The microbes come in powder form and in various amounts. Simply place 1 tablespoon of microbes down a drain, a toilet or directly into the septic tank once per month. The natural biomass in the septic tank will provide the microbes with a favorable environment in which they can thrive and rapidly accelerate the breakdown of material in the tank. Also, as described below, if applied with the recommended amount of Sanitary Cleaner solution, this will also help treat the drains.
2. Sanitary Cleaner Concentrate With Microbes:
This concentrate is designed for cleaning, treatment, and odor control of septic tanks and kitchen and bathroom drains. This product is a liquid which is available in 1 gallon, 5 gallon or 55 gallon containers and which dilutes to make 6 gallons of solution per gallon of concentrate.
To help keep drain lines clear and to promote beneficial microbic growth in the drains and septic tank, pour a diluted solution down any drain line leading to the septic tank or flush the solution down a toilet. The recommended amounts are one (1) cup of Sanitary Cleaner mixed with five (5) cups of water and one (1) tablespoon of supplemental microbes. For maximum benefit to the drain lines, pour the solution down an upstairs drain or toilet, if applicable, or down a drain on the first floor farthest from the septic tank. Apply this treatment once per month.
OUR GREASE TRAP TREATMENT PRODUCTS ARE:
1. Grease Buster Concentrate With Microbes (BGB):
This concentrate is designed for cleaning, treatment and odor control of grease traps, kitchen drains, galleys, and food processing facilities. Grease Buster is a liquid which is available in 1 gallon, 5 gallon or 55 gallon containers and which dilutes to make 6 gallons of solution per gallon of concentrate.
A diluted liquid solution (1:5 BGB to water) is manually poured into the grease trap via a connected drain line on a periodic basis. Please note that 1 gallon of BGB will make a total of 6 gallons of treatment solution. The solution can also be applied mechanically by an automated pump system which adds a fixed amount periodically based on timer control. This method of application has been used successfully in several commercial-scale settings, such as at the Langley Air Force Base food preparation and dining hall areas. Here are some specific guidelines for treating various sized grease traps:
Small household traps: Dilute BGB with water in the 1:5 ratio mentioned above. Add one (1) gallon of this solution per week along with one (1) teaspoon of supplemental microbes by pouring down a kitchen drain, preferrably at night when peak kitchen activity is over for the day. Repeat this for five (5) weeks. This 5-week procedure will be adequate to treat the trap for up to six (6) months.
Restaurant-sized grease traps up to 500 gallons: For traps of this size with a higher flowrate of waste water, a more aggressive treatment plan is required. In this case, once more dilute the BGB with water in the 1:5 ratio. The initial treatment should begin immediately after the grease trap has been pumped clean for best results. On the first night, after closing, add five (5) gallons of solution with one (1) ounce of microbes added into the trap by pouring down drain lines connected to the trap. To help keep the drain lines clean, pouring portions of the five gallons down each of the drain lines leading to the trap is recommended (floor drains, sink drains, etc). Just prior to closing on each of the five subsequent nights, pour one (1) gallon of solution mixed with one (1) ounce of microbes down any drain into the trap. After this initial treatment, simply add one (1) gallon of solution and one (1) ounce of microbes into the trap once per month.

2. Microbic Grease Trap Additive:
These specialized microbes are acclimated for use in treatment of grease traps. They are extremely effective at accelerating the breakdown of cellulose, proteins, starch, fats, and oils and in controlling odors in and around grease traps. Their use in conjunction with Grease Buster can significantly reduce the frequency of required grease trap pumpings. The microbes are available in powder form. The microbes are added to the trap manually along with the BGB solution as specified above.
3. Microbial Nutrient Booster:
This formula is designed to be used in grease traps and drains in conjunction with our specialized microbe blends as an optional additive to accelerate microbial production and thereby hasten the rate of breakdown of grease and of bioremediation of waste products.
