Fire Department Emergency Response
The following is the text from a letter we received from a Fire Chief at a Texas volunteer fire department:

"There was an automobile accident on highway 147 in Broaddus, Texas involving a Suburban. The driver lost control of the vehicle and it overturned leaving the driver pinned in the car. The fuel line to the engine ruptured resulting in gas spilling on to the ground beneath the car. The potential for a fire at this accident scene was serious, which put rescue personnel at extreme risk.

We sprayed the spill with Petro-Clean in an effort to prevent a catastrophic event. The results were excellent. Extraction of the driver from the car required two (2) hours and during this period we not only didn’t have a fire but both rescue workers outside and inside of the vehicle reported that they could not smell gasoline fumes."

Pipeline Leak into Sewer System
A leaking pipeline in Texas City, Texas had contaminated the underground sewer system with high levels of LEL, creating a hazardous condition. An environmental cleanup contractor sprayed approximately 500 gallons of Alabaster's Petro-Clean product into the sewer system as a first response. After meeting with city officials and Texas environmental management personnel, a treatment plan was agreed to based on an assessment of the overall impact of the situation. The city had assessed that approximately 3.5 miles of underground sewer had been invaded by the mixture of fuels. LEL meters were pegged out all over town.

An additional round of treatment using Petro-Clean was applied at several different areas in the system. Within 24 hours, the LEL levels were dropping substantially in response to the treatment. Meanwhile, the city had discovered microbe kills in their clarifiers, six 1.2 million gallon tanks. The first one had gone down and a second was turning a murkish brown. One hundred pounds of Alabaster microbe blends (A, B, C and S types) were applied to clarifier #1. A three-day treatment was recommended. The next day, the degassing effort throughout the sewers had been successfully completed after about 72 hours since the initial application of Petro-Clean. Treatment of the clarifiers continued with the introduction of an additional two hundred pounds of microbes along with two hundred pounds of Alabaster Nutrient Booster. By the next day, the first clarifier came back up and the second one was clear. Less than 24 hours later, municipal engineers stated that the system was up and running. This potentially highly dangerous situation had been completely remediated within a total elapsed time of 5 days.

Used in conjunction with Petro-Clean and other Alabaster advancement solutions, the A and B microbe blends are regularly utilized for cleanups in plant sewers, tank farms, oil spills, ditches, etc. The C and S microbe blends are used in food-processing plants as well as human waste-treatment plants. They can re-populate water treatment systems. They are naturally occurring, non-pathogenic and have a high tolerance to petroleum contamination. Plant treatment systems regularly state that their operation is more efficient after use of these microbes.

Southern California Test Results
The following is the text from a letter of approval Alabaster Corporation received from the South Coast Air Quality Management District after testing Petro-Clean's VOC suppression capability:

"Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) content determined by SCAQMD Method 304-91.

SCAQMD Staff has conducted a field test using 'Petro-Clean' suppressant on contaminated soil with initial VOC concentration of more than 50,000 PPM. After five minutes duration, the suppressant achieves more than 96% reduction in VOC concentration in the soil"
