Product Information about Sentence Cards
On this site you will find:- Printable cards for all major vowel sounds.
- A Preview option to see one of the files in each section. For example, click on Preview in the Word Recognition Section. The first 3 of 12 pages of the Short Vowels Sentence file can be previewed.
- The sentence progress from simple to more difficult.
- The words used in the sentences are consistent with the words in the word file. You will notice in the file that the target words are used within context of the sentence as well as in the answers.
- Preview the first 3 of 22 pages of Digraphs by clicking on Preview in the Word Decoding section. The frequent repetition of target words allows for reinforcement of words.
- Files are listed in sequential skill order.
Each file contains- An answer key for the sentence cards is included in each file. The answer key can be used as an evaluation tool to track successes and problem areas that need further concentration.
- 5 sentence cards per 8 1/2" x 11" page. (The smallest file has 40 sentences. The largest file has 144 sentences.)
