N.W. Rowing Clubs
Alaska Midnight Sun Rowing Association Rowing out of Soldotna, Alaska, this club was formed in Dec. 2004 from a branch of the Kenai Cruisers.
 
Anchorage Rowing Association
Formed in 1998, Anchorage Rowing Assoc. trains on Sand Lake in West Anchorage. The club rows mostly in the summer months in Alaska, but Juniors usually attend the Northwest Regionals in Vancouver, Washington in May, and the Greenlake Summer Regatta in Seattle in August.

 
Juneau Rowing Club A rowing club from Juneau, Alaska (where else?) formed in 2004.
 
Kenai Crewsers Rowing Club
The Kenai Crewsers Rowing Club practices on Bear Lake (Seward) and Kenai Lake (Cooper Landing) when the lakes are free of ice. The club welcomes novices and experienced rowers of all ages for sweep rowing and sculling. The club participates in Alaska and Lower-48 regattas.

 
 
 

Alaska Regattas

Sitka Adventure Racing An annual event held in June of each year featuring open-water marathon racing using any human-powered craft (kayaks, ocean canoes, rowing shells, warrior canoes, paddle wheels, etc.). The short course is 13. 3 miles, the long course is 23 miles.
 
Gastineau Challenge Regatta The annual regatta hosted by the Juneau Rowing Club in late June of each year. See Juneau Rowing Club for more info.
