Let me explain how it works. Our banks require a $150 downpayment on the cattle we will be feeding for you. So, your $1500 account gets you ten feeders. Of course,we feed in pens varying from 150 to 250 head, so you are really feeding a percentage of a pen.......say 10 percent.This limits your risk significantly. Our banks finance the feed and other expenses during the feeding period, so you don't have to worry about paying feed bills along the way. This whole process takes about six months...depending on size of cattle placed on feed,performance,and the procurement process(we want to buy cattle that have great profit potential!) Several of our customers started with a small account here seven years ago. Their $1500 accounts grew to the point where now many feed 100-200 head at a time!
