Do you have a solid track record of producing great rate-of-gains?      A. Over the past five years we have produced a rolling herd average of 3.5 lbs. per day feeding yearlings. This allows me to optimize rations as well as spot problems early. By maintaining a small yet professional staff, I’m able to keep costs down and perfomance high!   Q. You say you specialize in retained-ownership cattle. What do you mean?      A. We believe more and more cow-calf operators will turn to us to feed their calves. Why? Eventually, packers will dictate the kind of cattle bred and fed, just as they have done in the hog industry. Identifying which of your cows produces high quality finished cattle will become critical!
