Huguenot Settlements in the Cevennes Mountains of France (map)

This reprint of a rare French relief map graphically illustrates the Huguenot strongholds, churches, and towns in the southern mountains of France. From this area many Huguenots fled to other European countries and to the U.S. The Camisard War was the Huguenot's unsuccessful uprising and resulted in further persecution of the Huguenots.
