Kerri Guthrie presents this comforting image of the protecting force of angels as they stand guard over us when we study the Scriptures and meditate on the goodness of the Lord.

Many times we may yearn for this protection for ourselves and for the members of our family as we must be prepared to face the difficulties of the world.

Kerri found her talent at a young age, and has won several ribbons in art competitions. She received the Sterling Scholar Award from Pleasant Grove High School upon her graduation. She attended Brigham Young University from 1980 to 1983, and then 1985 to 1986 after an 18 month break for a Mission. Her education focused on Elementary and Secondary Education and Art. She currently teaches Art at a private traditional school in Utah.

Kerri is the mother of four wonderful children and attributes her success to her loving husband, Dr. Dan Guthrie. She says he always encourages and supports her. Looking beyond her responsibilities as wife, mother and educator, Kerri enjoys opportunities to serve her church, and community. Kerri believes that in doing service, true happiness is found.
