Our Modular Heating Mantle! • Constructed to heat fluids in round bottom flasks • Modular design accommodates three interchangeable cartridges • Probe accessory monitors fluid temperatures Product Description • Constructed of ABS flame retardant thermoplastic, the main controller and stirrer module case are easy to clean. The heater cartridge case is spun aluminum with polyester paint coating. • Ceramic fiber thermal insulation permits faster heater up while reducing energy consumption. • Available as heater only or heater/stirrer model. • Base unit accommodates your choice of three interchangeable cartridges: 250, 500, or 1000 ml flask sizes. • Reliable electronic control maintains the stability of the mantle. • If maintaining a precise solution temperature is important, insert the accessory probe into the mantle to control sample solution temperature. Operation • Control panel contains three indicator lights: “Power On,” “Stirrer On” and “Heater On.” • Element temperature range of ambient to 450°C. • Three digit display toggles between set temperature and actual temperature ±1°C. • Simply touching the stirrer speed knob changes the display to reflect the actual rpm. • High powered mechanical stirrer regulates stirring from 100-800 rpm. • Integral ring-stand holder accommodates support stand and clamp. • Easily adjust set temperature by depressing the up/down arrow keys.
