Mats for All Uses! • Silicone rubber lamination • Resistant to moisture, weather, ozone gases and most chemicals • Available in many different sizes Product Description • Operating Range: -60°C to 200°C. Adhesive backed mats maximum temperature 180°C. • Construction: Standard; 2 ply, 0.1 cm thick, moisture resistant. Optional: 4 ply, 0.25 cm thick double insulated. • The heater is constructed by securing a formed element wire between two sheets of semi-cured textile reinforced silicone rubber. • Single or double core connecting leads are potted in to the edge of the mat using silicone rubber compound to give a strong electrical and mechanical joint. • Element can be pitched evenly within the mat to give uniform heating or can be graduated to give differing amounts of heat across the surface of the mat. • Readily controllable, can be adhered to most surfaces and are strong enough to be used in most demanding environments. • The thickness and flexibility of these mats make them very easy to apply. An adhesive is available to bond the mat to most surfaces.
