This is a pattern for a plush chenille, wrap style vest. The vest has a deep V-wrap front and a longer rounded back detail with corded finishing and button closure. Sizes XS-XXL included in pattern. Pattern measurements allow for 2" ease to compensate for chenille shrinkage with the first washing.

Each pattern contains one set of Chenille Tissue Templates. Additional templates are available for this pattern.

Suggested fabrics: 100% rayon recommended for best results. Soft cottons with loose weave such as 100% cotton flannel, madras plaids, osnaburg, and muslins are also suitable. ALWAYS make sample block of any fabrics that you select!

Yardage:
60" fabrics, all sizes: 1 yd for each chenille layer (total of 3 yds) and 1 yd for the base layer
45" fabrics, all sizes: 1 3/4 yds for each chenille layer (total of 5 1/4 yds) and 1 3/4 yds for the base layer.
3/4 yd matching or coordinating fabric for the binding and collar. You may use scraps from one of your chenille layers for the binding.
One 5/8 inch flat button and one wonderful button for the closure.
