This pattern makes a 20 inch tall teddy bear, oh so soft and cuddly in six layers of rayon. A perfect project to make for a special child (or adult!).

Suggested fabrics:
Body - 100% rayon in any combination of solids or prints, crepes, challis, or loose weaves. Use a tightly woven rayon for the base layer.
Inner Ears, Nose, and Soles - Leather, suede, synthetic leather or suedes.

Notions: Thread, polyester fiberfill, 1 1/4 yds of 1 1/2" to 2 1/4" wide ribbon(s), two 3/4" sew-on eyes or a set of child-safe eyes from the craft store.

Yardage:
Body - 1 yd of 58-60" wide 100% rayon fabric for each of five layers and the base layer for a total of 6 yds.
Inner Ears and Soles - 9 1/2" X 5 1/2" remnant
Nose - 4" X 5" remnant
