This rich chenille shawl collared, hip length vest features chevroned lines in the chenille that flatter all figure types. The pattern uses three chenille layers on the base layer. The unique construction of this vest makes it completely reversible. The chenille side features a quilted shawl collar. The quilted side shows off a soft chenille collar. This pattern contains sizes XS - XL. Pattern measurements allow for 2" ease to compensate for chenille shrinkage with the first washing.

Each pattern contains one set of Chenille Tissue Templates. Additional templates are available for this pattern.

Suggested fabrics: For the best results, 100% rayon is recommended, however soft cottons with a loose weave such as 100% cotton flannel, madras plaids, osnaburg, and muslins are also suitable. ALWAYS make a sample block of any fabric that you select!

60" wide, Sizes XS-M - 1 yd for each of three layers and the base layer for a total of 4 yds. Sizes LG-XL - 1 yd for each of three layers and 1 3/8 yd for the base layer for a total of 4 3/8 yds. Preshrink the base layer only before cutting.
5/8 yd matching or contrasting 45" or 60" fabric for the binding.
