This is a luxurious cardigan jacket in two lengths using three layers of chenille fabric on the base layer. View A is a fingertip jacket with a tailored collar and contrasting ties. View B is a "sweater-set" length jacket with matching binding detail and ties. This pattern contains sizes 6 - 16. Pattern measurements allow for 2" ease to compensate for chenille shrinkage with the first washing.
Each pattern contains one set of Chenille Tissue Templates. Additional templates are available for this pattern.

Suggested fabrics: For the best results, 100% rayon is recommended for the three chenille layers but other natural fabrics may be substituted. ALWAYS make a sample block of any fabrics you select!

Yardage:
View A: 60" wide - 2 yds for each of three layers (a total of 6 yds) and 2 1/4 yd for the base layer. 45" wide - 3 yds for each chenille layer and the base layer for a total of 12 yds. Contrasting binding - 3/4 yd of either 45" or 60" wide fabric.
View B: 60" wide - 1 3/4 yd for each chenille layer and the base layer for a total of 7 yds. 45" wide - 2 5/8 yd for each chenille layer and the base layer for a total of 10 1/2 yds.
