Using a skimmer box significantly decreases your pond maintenance. The skimmer box is placed ground level at the pond's edge. A submersible pump is placed in the back chamber of the skimmer where it draws water in and the surface debris for removal by the debris net and mat. The clean water is pumped up to the waterfall box where biological filtration takes place. Our models remove up to 95% debris when properly placed in your pond. Skimmers clean your pond of dust and debris ALL-SEASON-LONG. They improve fish safety by moving the pump out of the pond and behind a vertical mat(s) held in place with a special mat holder. They hide & protect the pump while simplifying pond plumbing.
