You'll enjoy the sound of two chimes within one Shepherd's Chime. The melody will be played on the front of the Windharp Chime by a rotating ball. The harmonizing bar, on the backside of the Windharp Chime, will play the harmony. Both sounds are entirely different from one another, and a matter of personal choice. There are NOW, THREE VOLUME ADJUSTMENT FEATURES! 1. Volume Adjustment Pin ~ The Windharp’s frame features our unique Volume Adjustment Pin and Bead Adjustment. The pin suspends both a rotating ball and a striking bar. The pin can be adjusted (forced forward or backward) causing the ball to be closer to the notes for a softer sound. For a more complex concert of both melody and harmony, center the volume adjustment pin, causing equal amounts of the pin to show on both sides of the aluminum frame. 2. NEW! ~ Volume Adjustment Beads on both sides of the Volume Adjustment Pin will slide along the line to enable the adjustment of the height of the striker rod on the back of the windharp. Adjusting the position of both beads will raise or lower the striker for more or less activity. The higher the striker is positioned, the less active the striker will play. After adjustment, slide both beads close to the pin to secure the striker’s position. 3. Volume Adjustment Bead Under the Ball ~ The Volume Adjustment Bead under the ball can be easily moved along the length of the string to adjust the height of the ball that sits upon it. You’ll achieve the greatest amount of sound when the bead and ball are positioned about ½” above the bottom of the notes. If the ball is positioned higher (closer to the frame), it will have less effect upon the notes. Their song is delightful. The hand tuned notes are 1/2" solid anodized aircraft grade aluminum and are strung to the frame with 96lb. braided nylon.
