Instructions for Activation: (3 easy steps)
Step 1 - Remove the Giggle Bug and fob from the packaging. Remove battery tab.Step 2 – Push down on the Giggle Bug clip and attach to the child’s shirt or jacket (preferably in the middle of the back and out of the child’s reach).Step 3 – Activate the Giggle Bug by pressing the button on the back for 3 seconds. The unit will “beep” 3 times and the eyes will blink confirming “ON” status. The Giggle Bug is now ready for use.
To Locate a Missing Child:
Push button on fob. The Giggle Bug will “beep” and the lights will flash until the child is located.
Instructions for De-activation:
– To continue use and reset while attached and “beeping”, press the button on the back of
the Giggle Bug.
– To discontinue use and turn the unit OFF, press the button on the back of the Giggle Bug for
4 seconds. The unit will emit a continual “beep” which confirms that the unit has been turned OFF.

Should the Giggle Bug become dislodged from the child’s clothing and the clip closes, the unit will “beep” and flash until the clip is opened and the button on the back is pushed to reset. The Giggle Bug can be reset by opening the clip and pressing the button on the bug’s back or by re-attaching the Giggle Bug to the child’s clothing and pressing the button.

The Giggle Bug is not waterproof and should be kept dry to function properly.
