Return Policy
 
 
1. We accept returns for the AmberWatches™ through our 
customer service center only. 
 
2. If you are not completely happy with your watch, you 
must call within 14 days from date of shipment to obtain a return material 
authorization number (RMA). Customers may contact our customer service at 
800.514.6508 to obtain a RMA number. THE RMA NUMBER THAT YOU RECEIVE MUST BE 
CLEARLY MARKED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PACKAGE. Packages without a RMA number 
clearly marked on the outside are at risk to be rejected. Customer service 
hours are 8AM to 5PM Pacific Standard Time.

3. If you purchased with a credit card, the original 
purchase amount, less shipping, will be credited to your credit card. If you 
purchased by check or money order, a refund check will be mailed to the 
billing address on your order. 
 
4. Please return the watch in the original box with all 
original packing material, manuals and any other materials that came with the 
watch. 
 
5. You are responsible for return shipping costs. For your 
protection, we recommend you insure your return shipment. We cannot be held 
responsible for items we do not receive. 
 
6. To return a watch for credit, it must be in new, or like 
new condition. We cannot issue refunds for watches that show signs of 
significant wear and tear. 
 
7. We cannot accept modified watches for credit. 
 
8. Exchanges after 14 days and worn watches are subject to 
our standard Warranty Policy. See Warranty Information in product instructions 
for details. AmberWatch™ reserves the right to qualify excessive use for 
damaged product.
 
 
 
 
STANDARD 
WARRANTY 
 
 Limited Warranty: This AmberWatchTM watch 
(but not any battery, crystal, band or strap) is warranted to the original 
purchaser for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of purchase against defects 
in materials or workmanship by Vertex Group, LLC ("Vertex").
 
 What is Covered by this Limited Warranty: In 
the event of any breach of warranty related to this AmberWatch watch within 
such one year warranty period, Vertex will, in its discretion, repair or 
replace the AmberWatch watch, or you will receive a refund, at our option, 
provided that the AmberWatch watch is returned to Vertex at your expense, and 
you provide proof of purchase and purchase date. These remedies are your 
exclusive remedies for breach of warranty.
 
 This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover:
 
 1) Defects or damage related to servicing not 
performed by Vertex;
 
 2) Defects or damage to the AmberWatch watch 
after the warranty period expires;
 
 3) Defects or damage from accidents, 
tampering, abuse or improper storage or use; or
 
 4) Failure to operate the AmberWatch as 
provided in the instructions.
 
 Periodic Testing: You should test the alarm 
mechanism of your AmberWatch watch periodically to determine whether the 
battery and alarm mechanism are functioning properly. When your battery is 
depleted, have it replaced promptly.
 
 Warranty Disclaimer: THIS WARRANTY ARE 
EXCLUSIVE AND ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, 
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND 
FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THERE ARE NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF QUALITY. If 
applicable law precludes the disclaimer of implied warranties as provided 
above, then such implied warranties shall be limited the one year warranty 
period set forth above.
 
 Limitation of Remedies: VERTEX SHALL NOT BE 
LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHETHER BASED ON 
BREACH OF WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, TORT OR OTHER LEGAL 
THEORY. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental, 
special or consequential damages, so the above exclusion or limitation may not 
apply to you. Any claim or action for breach of warranty must be commenced 
within 15 months from the date of purchase.
 
 WARNING: VERTEX DOES NOT GUARANTEE THOSE 
USING AMBERWATCH WILL BE SAFE FROM HARM OR ABDUCTION AS NO PERSONAL SAFETY 
PRODUCT CAN GUARANTEE THE SAFETY OF THOSE WHO USE IT. VERTEX ASSUMES NO 
LIABILITY IF YOUR AMBERWATCH WATCH IS NOT EFFECTIVE IN PREVENTING AN ABDUCTION 
OR ATTACK, AND FOR ANY INJURIES RESULTING THEREFROM.
 
 Warranty Service: To obtain warranty service, 
please contact our customer service at 800.514.6508 to obtain a return 
material authorization ("RMA") number. Once you have received an RMA number, 
return your AmberWatch watch to Vertex at the address below, together with a 
written statement including your name, address, telephone number, a 
description of the defect, and proof of the date and price of your purchase. 
Your RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the package in which 
you ship your return. Vertex reserves the right to charge you for the actual 
cost of return postage and handling (this is not a repair charge). Vertex's

 Because of possible loss, we recommend 
insuring your watch, return receipt requested, when using the mails. Packages 
without an RMA number clearly marked on the outside may be rejected. Customer 
service hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time.
 
 If you return your AmberWatch to Vertex as 
provide above, we reserve the right to charge you for a replacement battery, 
if the battery in your watch has been depleted. No additional charge will be 
made unless the one year warranty period has expired or servicing is necessary 
for reasons no covered by this warranty, in which case a moderate charge will 
be made.
 
 This warranty gives you specific legal 
rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
