The AmberWatch® is actually two devices in one: a
full-functioned wrist-watch and a safety alarm. The AmberWatch®'s
patent-pending combination of technology is unique in the industry.

Using simple button-cell batteries, the AmberWatch® microchip processor drives
a unique resonant cavity located on the bottom of the watch capable of
amplifying the signal into the 115dB sound that is heard.

Noise is measured in decibels (dB). As noise increases, so
does the decibel level. How loud is 115dB? The table at right shows some
common noises and the dB levels.

Remember, the decibel system is logarithmic, not linear,
and every increase of 6dB is actually a doubling of the loudness. The
AmberWatch® is more than 4x louder than a screaming child!

The AmberWatch® is worn the same as any other
watches. Putting the sound chamber close to the skin does not impair the sound
levels. Properly worn, the proximity of the resonant cavity to the skin can
magnify the sound level.

The watch arrives with a factory-set alarm code. Entering
the code-set mode with the red alarm buttons allows a user defined unique code
to be defined.

The AmberWatch® alarm can only be triggered
by simultaneously pressing both red alarm buttons for approximately 1 second.
Once triggered, the secret code is used to deactivate the alarm.

Should the watch be forcibly removed from the
wearer, the band will break at a designed-in weak spot. Once this occurs, the
alarms are automatically triggered.

The standard mode of the watch-module
includes the hour, minutes, seconds and day of the week. The four blue
watch-mode buttons are used for the various functions available by the
watch-module; day, date, time, stop-watch and alarms.
