This 16" tree shear cuts 16" trees in a few seconds (depending on hydraulic flow and pressure).The single blade eliminates center cut splinters that double blade designs leave behind.The wedge effect of single blade design means a predictable tree fall (usually to the right).A deeper cutting pocket reduces cylinder power requirements.The blade moves from left to right for better operator visibility.The unique design of this tree shear produces half the wear on parts compared to double blade design.The concave jaw can be used as a natural gripping action on the tree.This unit is able to cut trees at ground level and rotate to cut trees or limbs.The hydraulic cutter cylinder has a 6" bore and a 17" stroke.The hydraulic tilt cylinder has a 3" bore and a 8" stroke which rotates cutter head 110 degrees. Adapts to all models of skid steer loaders.The electro-hydraulic valve provides two hydraulic functions from a single remote. The unique blade cylinder position allows ground hugging operation.A massive three inch blade pivot pin provides unmatched rotational strength. All pivot points are greaseable for extended life.The T-1 steel cutting edge is three times tougher than typical steel.
