Do I need to get a catalog for an order form?
No. Our catalogs do not include order forms. Our ordering is done online or by phone. If you would rather have a form to fill out and fax/mail in, please request a form/price sheet rather than a catalog.
How can I get a catalog?
To obtain a catalog, please
"Contact Us" being sure to include:
- Your specific area interest, ie. finished or kits.
- Your complete mailing address
- Any other info, like size requirements.
Minimum Order? No
No minimum order required; however, due to rising costs, we must assess a $7.50 packaging fee for orders totalling $50.00 and under.
Order Cancellation Charge?
Note: ALL cancellations must be done via email to:
- creativedollhousedesigns@comcast.net
Because of misc fees such as drop ship fees, credit card fees, etc, it is necessary for us to charge for cancellations as follows:
- Orders cancelled within 48 hours of ordering will be assessed a $15.00 processing fee.
- If cancelled after 48 hours from ordering, a 20% restocking fee will apply.
Note: If merchandise has shipped before cancelling, purchaser should refuse the shipment and will be assessed a charge for return shipping.
In either case, the credit will be issued to your credit card, in a timely manner, minus the applicable fees.

How will I know what dollhouse is best for me?
We divide your dollhouse skill levels into 3 categories:Deciding HOW the house will be used will also help in your selection of materials. Using better materials in construction results in a better dollhouse to be enjoyed for years to come. See

How can I Track my order once placed?
Simply log onto www.creativedollhousedesigns.com with your order number and select the "order tracking" feature at the top of the site. You will input your order # and press update. Tracking info will be available 24/7.
What if I have parts missing and/or broken in my dollhouse Kit?
Simply email CDD using the "contact us" form below being sure to include the following:- Advise us of the order # and date you purchased the item
- Quote directly from the parts list, the missing
items. Include part number(s)
- Include model number of the dollhouse kit
- Description of piece & any dimensions
- The name & address for sending replacement pieces.
How do I get a replacement set of instructions?Please email us, using the form below,including:
- Include original order # & date ordered
- The model number of the dollhouse kit
- Your name and mailing address
- Fax # if you prefer receiving them via fax
What type of Supplies are generally needed for your kits?
General Recommended Supplies:- Hammer
- Fine Toothed Saw
- Glues - non-water based
- Utility Knife
- Masking Tape
- Sandpaper: 100 and 320 grit
- Paints & Paint Brushes
- Ruler
- 3/4" or 1" Brads
- Elastic Bands
More sophisticated finishing may require other supplies. We will be more than happy to address specific applications upon request.
What paints are recommend by the Manufacturer?
- Benjamin Moore Semi-Gloss Latex Interior paints
unless otherwise specified
What type of nails does the manufacturer recommend?3/4" brads or any nail with a very small head. These can be purchased through most hardware stores.
What type of glue is recommended?
Glue the shingles on with glue that doesn't have any water in it. If the glue says "water clean-up", it will curl the wooden shingles. Look carefully at the glue you intend to use to be sure it is solvent-based, or use hot-melt glue (and watch out for burns). We use Liquid Nails #940 glue which comes in a caluking-gun tube at the hardware or building supply store. (NOTE: Liquid Nails also makes #990 which is "water clean-up" and will curl the shingles.)
Glue the body of your dollhouse together with white, water clean-up glue that dries clear. Do not use instant-bond (super glue), fast-tack, rubber cement, silicone or hot melt glues. They are all used in some wood applications, but they all have some characteristic that makes them un-desirable for the body of your dollhouse. Carpenter Glue works well and has all the characteristics you want, but glue-smear dries yellow or tan; many of the things you glue onto the house are pre-painted - extra glue will show. We use Aileene's Tacky Glue or other white glue (Elmer's, etc.) for all house body assembly.
